Premier League team to benefit from the World Cup break.

Previously, the World Cup was played when every league comes to an end but comes differently in the Qatar 2022 World Cup where leagues must break for the World Cup to commence. But in all, which of the Premier League teams will benefit more going into the 35 days break for the clubs. For which the Premier League resumes on 26th December, 2022 but the final of the World Cup is on the 18th of the same month.

Chelsea. The break has come good for Graham Potter and Chelsea to turnover their woes when the league kickstarts again late in December. They have seen a bad performance and recorded a series of defeats in the league. Potter and his technical men will use this to analayse his squad well and prepare best for the second half. Chelsea again meets Dortmund in the round 16 of the Champions league in February. Injured players like, Kante, Chilwell, Fofana, and Reece James will have more periods to recover as this wouldn’t bring any effect onto the team.

Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs were among the favorites to win the league this season. Started it so well and was able to steal a point from Chelsea after a dramatic game play in Stamford Bridge. Tottenham are just a point below Newscastle United who sits on the third position and three point ahead of Manchester United who have a game at hand to play.

Liverpool. The “We Will Never Walk Alone” team had some super stars who couldn’t represent their nations in the World Cup. Mohammed Salah couldn’t qualify with Egypt, and Firminho not picked, Thiago Alcantara. These important players will have more time to prepare enough. Diogo Jota as well will have to come better after it. A good game by Darwin Nunez with the Uruguay team will help boost and motivates him which he can use to gel for Liverpool in the second half. On national duty, only Virgil Van Dijk, Alisson, and Nunez will be first choice for their teams and will play regularly. So they have a lot of their players to rest. Hoping for Matip to be back by then also.

Wolverhampton Wanderers. Wolves had sacked their coach in October after having some defeats, and appointing Julian Lopetegui as the next one to be in the dugout for the rest of the season. He therefore needs more time to familiarize with his new players. Relatively, only few players are with their national teams so he has the chance to work with the entire team and prepares them. Diego Costa must start scoring and that’s why they brought him to the club.

Manchester City. Yes, they will also benefit as well. Even though they have a lot of their players on national duties, Erling Halaand who failed to progress his nation into the cup tournament will have time to rest so he will bounce back stronger when the league resumes on the Boxing Day eve. He has already had 18 goals and 3 assists in the EPL and 5 goals in the Champions league this season for the Cityzens. Pep will also use the games to analyze his players and draws good plans for them especially those who weren’t playing and can have a chance with their national team.

Manchester United. Maybe, the Ronaldo interview might have come in the good time as Ten Hag and the Glazers hoping by December, will have solutions to it. As they meet Barcelona in the Europa League, he will prepare his team good for the upcoming challenges.

Arsenal and Newcastle. Both clubs have few of their players in the World Cup. Newcastle will be traveling to Saudi Arabia for a training tour so they come back stronger again. As will also do same to test their other players.
