10 Top Players to Miss the Qatar 2022 World Cup

The Qatar 2022 World Cup will start in November, 20,2022 and ends in December, 18.

Various team countries have been put into groups of which the top two teams qualifies to the next stage of the competition.

On everyday, there will be four matches to be played.

The World Cup tournament is organized every four years and it’s the dream of every football player to participate in it.

But, it looks like, there are top star players who will be missing this year’s World Cup. The reasons maybe, injury, or the team country didn’t qualify to be present.

Let’s now look at the players missing the World Cup:

Erling Halaand.

Erling Halaand would have been one of the top players to watch in this tournament, but unfortunately, he failed to qualify his team country to the Qatar 2022 World Cup. He has had a good start at Manchester City coming with 17 goals. Currently, he is injured and missed Man City’s last game and will definitely missed their champions league match against Sevilla tonight.

Paul Labile Pogba

Even though France qualified to the World Cup 2022, the midfielder, Pogba will not be in contention. He’s out due to injury and tournament will be soon for his return to the field. He is currently a Juventus player and has never featured in any of their matches this season.

N’Golo Kante

Same as Paul Pogba, Kante is totally out and won’t be present for this Cup tournament. He has an hamstring injury and he won’t be back anytime soon.

Mohammed Salah

The Egyptian king, Mohammed Salah misses the Qatar World Cup also. This is after he failed to qualified ahead of Senegal in the qualifying championships. Salah, in the last season’s EPL won the golden boots after he topped the most goals scored with the Tottenham man, Son.

David Alaba

Alaba didn’t make it to the World Cup because his country, Austria didn’t qualify.

Gianluigi Donnaruma, and Jorginho

All these Italian internationals won’t be at the tournament also. They missed their chances for not qualifying from the World Cup Playoffs.

Diogo Jota

The Portuguese and Liverpool man sustained a Calf injury later when they beat Manchester City. He therefore needs some months to recover of which the World Cup comes too soon for him. However, the player stated how this has shuttered his dream.

David De Gea

The Manchester United goalkeeper missed the 55 man squad the Spanish head coach released. He could for some reasons be included as Kepa Arizabalaga is injured. If his recovery keeps long, he might be replaced by De Gea.

Luiz Diaz

Not only Luiz Diaz from Colombia will miss this, also, the former Real Madrid player, James Rodriguez and Radamel Falcao will also miss.

Group A: Qatar, Netherlands, Senegal, Ecuador,

Group B: USA, Wales, England, Iran

Group C: Argentina, Poland, Mexico, Saudi Arabia.

Group D: Tunisia, Denmark, France, Australia

Group E: Germany, Spain, Japan, Costa Rica

Group F: Canada, Croatia, Belgium, Morocco

Group G: Brazil, Cameroon, Switzerland, Serbia

Group H: Ghana, South Korea, Portugal, Uruguay.

Qatar plays Ecuador in the first match.
